ABOUT ME

Isabella Sullivan is an editor, journalist, copywriter and storyteller

Raised between Cape Town and the UK and based in Dubai, Isabella has covered travel, lifestyle and F&B for close to a decade in the UK and the Middle East. Currently Founder and Editor-in-Chief of luxury independent travel title, Near+Far and formerly features, and then acting editor, of Condé Nast Traveller Middle East, she specialises in the travel and luxury industries and is a highly skilled journalist, editor and copywriter.

Prior to her move to the Middle East in January 2021, she was based in London for eight years, working on a plethora of international and national travel and lifestyle publications, including the country’s best-selling magazines, specialised f&b trade titles and national newsrooms. In 2020 she launched her own media platform aimed at re-romanticising slow travel and is the Academy Chair, Middle East and Africa, for The World’s 50 Best Hotels.
